Voice problem

Mobile phone purchased on 13th of november but there was voice problem in the set when i operated it at srinager. I returned to jammu on 22nd of november and i was under this impression that i will get its replacement. I was told to contact to contact service centre where i was informed that had i benn in position to return the product within 7 days i would have got its replacement. I may like to mention it here that no such mention is in the bill issued by the shopkeeper. I would as such request for its replacement keeping the good customer relations.
