CHEATING BY NEXT RETAIL POINT & FAULTY FLAP DESIGN OF VNS53 VIDEOCON SPLIT AC

I wish to complaint about VIDEOCON split ac model no. VNS53 purchased

on 4-4-10 vide bill no.07776 from NEXT showroom at jaljog circle. This

was sold to me specified as 1.5 ton (mentioned in the cash memo) but

since this is 4950 watts only (as specified by specification on box)

it is actually 1.375 ton. Technically 1.5 ton is equal to 18000 Btu/hr

which is 5400 watts of cooling. Complaining to the sales person

resulted no response till date. I’d complained to VIDEOCON toll free

no., first on 21-04-10, complaint no. JOD2104144449, then reminder on

26-04-10 but no response till date.

I tried several times to contact NEXT showroom higher authorities at

jaipur but they never pick the phone & their toll free is not working

either.

Apart from cheating the cooling is insufficient & thirdly the FLAP is

designed faulty such that even at lowest direction the air is not

directed to under lying bed (6 ft. range). This thing was told to

installation engineer while installation who replied that you keep the

fan on to direct the air to bed. This is really absurd.
