Inefficient service centre

I had purchased a philips make dvd player around six month ago. right from day one there was problem in the disk drive which failed to open. after making a complaint at their kolkata office, one service engineer visited my premises in january and apparently recitified the defect. however, the very next day, the same problem developed and the same engineer came but could not rectify the defect. thereafter, i have been making repeated calls to their service centre situated in hazra road but they are only making excuses and not sending the engineer. they charged three hundred rupees as service charge. i am deeply saddened by the behaviour of the service centre and would not recommend anyone to purchase any electrical gadgets of philips as BOTH THEIR PRODUCT AND AFTER SALES SERVICE IS PATHETIC TO SAY THE LEAST
