Lens often not working

I brought a Philips dvd player and it stopped workin after 5 months and good time I had the 6 months warranty so I was able to replace the lens as the problem was with the lens. Now again in the eight month the lens stopped working >I dont know what to do how many times I have to service the same DVD player. I dont know why the companies are not giving quality products to customers. Iam fed up with this.
