Dear Sir, I bought a Pigeon brand Induction type Rice cooker, 18 months ago-Two Problems wrt to this product-(1) The timer on the product used (for cooking various dishes) was not working Got it repaired through the reailer- sent to the distributor in Jayanagar Bangalore. The problem was not fixed and the same problem is continuuing, they charged me Rs 685/- I have returned the product back to the reailer to repair free of charge this time or Return the money- I have already spent morethan Rs 500/ on travel expenses. Need to wait and see if th repair comes thrugh Problem (2) The same product the stainless steel vessel is Cracked, The distributor says it is not covered under warranty there fore we ned to pay! My argument was that it is a Manufacturing defect!! Unfortunately, most of these isssues get screened at the distributor itself and does not reach the manufacturer for claims.
