Disconnection of my airtel connection

Electronics and household app.

I have airtel post paid connection .no. 9871118758. when my representative went to airtel counter for disconnection of this number on dated 29-8-11, he cleared all the due pending till that day. and requested them for disconnection of the number. Airtel representative told that it till take 7 days, and we may receive a small amount bill for those seven days also, after that it will be disconnected. After that i even received call from airtel twice or thrice about clarification for my phone disconnection. i told that very clearly that i donot require the services, so please forward my request.

Again today 20-9-11, when my representaitive went to airtel, to pay the new bill we have received, they again started with the same story. that they have not forwarded our request, now if i want i must first get it converted to prepaid and then so... so..., really disguisting. they are saying they will forward our request today and i should pay this present bill to them and after that i will received one more bill again.

and best part is i am not using this number since last three months . it is clear in their record. but again they r not ready for disconnection of my number. they r really harassing me. their staff is not educated . don't know how to respond.
