NO CHANNEL WORKING

No channel is was coming since 16th March except a message saying "Error code B001". I tried to book a complaint and after two attempts my compliant was registered. On the next day after noon I got a call from a Service Engineer that he can come between 11.00 AM to 5.30 PM only. I was in Noida 30 KM away and could not reach home before 5.30 PM. On 18th March I got another call in the after noon from 9810908692 saying that the service is done only between 11.00 AM and 5.30 PM and reach home immediately. I took special permission and reached at 5.30 PM and no one turned up to 8.00 PM (till the time I am sending this email). We missed our programs for 2 days and I had to leave my urgent office work and sit at home for over 2 hours for nothing. Even though I made several calls, the engineer is not even picking up the phone to say that he has some problem and can not come to my house.

Today on 19th March another Service Engineer 9810259074 called at 11.00 AM today did not turn up in the evening as requested by me. I took special permission and reached home early and no one turned up till 6.00 PM (till the time I am sending this email). We missed our programs for 3 days and I had to leave my urgent office work and sit at home for over 3 hours for nothing. Even though I made several calls, the engineer did not pick up the phone to say that he has some problem and can not come to my house.

When every company is providing services for domestic appliances at home from 9.00 AM to 8.00 or 9.00 PM according to the convenience of the customers, why Airtel has a Service Department not caring for the customer's convenience? Airtel can not expect its working couple customers to take leave and sit at home waiting for its service engineer who never turns up at the appointed time.

Earlier when I asked for free Tamil top up (which I specifically mentioned before making the payment), I was told by customer care Mr. Ritish Jeriwal in an unfriendly manner to watch some north Indian regional programs like Punjabi, Bengali or Oriya which I can not even understand.

Further I paid Rs.2, 514/- by credit card and I got 2 SMS saying that Airtel received Rs.1515/- and Rs.999/-. I was told that Rs.1, 515/- is for the HD STB and Rs.999/- is for the programs. In the website I saw cash back of Rs.250/- and 5 months free subscribtions. But when I talked to customer care, I was told that I will get only one month free subscription.

You are requested to provide a customer friendly good service and get the Digital TV working at the earliest and extend the validity of free subscription by 4 months.
