Unable to access airtel sim in sonny handset

While using this any Airtel sim in Sony ericson model W910i getting error is getting "unable to access the Network".and i am unable to make and receive the call. when i m opening setting for network selection, in select network getting as 3gairtel network automatically instead of airtel. kindly help me to get it rectify
