I had purchased a packet of Everest Kashmirilal Chilly powder from sarkari bhandar, Chembur, Mumbai on 28th November. While emptying the packet into a bottle I found a peice of rope in it. This goes to show the utter laxity on the part of the company regarding the cleanliness and hygeine aspect while packing.

I have the packet and the added ingredient (rope) with me. I request you to kindly advise me the correct procedure by which I can seek redresal. I would also like to know that what help the Indian consumer forum can do in this matter.
