Food product damaged /expired -not replaced

I was dealing in food products of International Best Foods Ltd which in 2001 amalgamated with Hindustan Lever Ltd, (now Hindustan Unilever Ltd.-HUL). Hence the merged entity was obliged to replace the damaged food products which they didnt replace inspite of our oral and written communications to them which later on resulted in expired food products.

That, in November officials of Food Adulteration Department visited our godown prepared the list of food products damaged and expired and later destroyed it. (copy enclosed) This matter was also communicated to HUL but of no heed. We have been continuously reminded HUL regarding the replacement of food products and the subsequent developments but were not attended to by HUL. We have incurred huge losses till date and want that HUL to indemnify us and we REQUEST INDIAN CONSUMER COMPLAINTS FORUM
