Overpricing

The Milk and curd sold at the Nandini shop on NH 17 at Binaga Village is overpriced by Rs. 2/-. The shopkeeper, on being confronted about the same, says that these are 'refrigeration charges' and he therefore, needs to charge over the printed MRP. The shop is known locally as 'Birju ki Dukaan' (Birju's Shop) and other shopkeepers also acknowledge that he overcharges. Unfortunately, the shop has a monopoly in the region.
