I purchased a bag of Split Moong Dayhl last year from Morarka Organics / Down to earth organics. The price was twice that of regular stuff that you buy from stores.

Well when I purchased an expensive dahl in an expensive packet I expected that people providing organic food must have some good processes in place to enable them deliver quality product. However, this is not to be expected from Morarka Organics.

Here is what happened.

A stone in the dahl chipped my guests tooth.

I check the bag and it has several stone in it.

Stones are not something you expect in dahl packets even in regular stores where you pay regular price and so I was surprised and wrote a mail to their customer support asking them is it expected from their product or an anomaly.

Well thinking that maybe cleaning is not one of their strength but product support could be an area where they excel I wrote to them on Feb 25. and never heard from them since.

Now we have a company providing bad product and complementing its effort by a bad support. I wish to know if such fly by nighters can be trusted with something like organic food?
