Overcharging on M.R.P

The M.R.P on the milk packet is Rs. 10.50 but for it is charged at Rs.11 or Rs.11.50 even though M.R.P is Rs.10.50 but now the shops here has started charging Rs.15 even though current M.R.P is Rs.10, 50.

The prices has increased and its all in news and news papers.

me: Its not reflected in M.R.P and i will pay M.R.P.

Shopkeeper: If u dont want then leave it but its for Rs.15.

This is a usual practice of shopkeepers here (HSR layout), they cite any such reason and overcharge and since it is being practiced here by all the shopkeepers, so whether u have to give them the price they ask for or u wont get it.

The same practice is followed in case of all milk products.
