Like most of the PDS shops at Behala this 'Cooperative' also does not issue sale slips, it does not maintain the sock board & sales mostly non-PDS items. The consumers can never know what are the PDS items available, what amount of them they are entiltled to get & at what are their actual price. It happnes that they charge excess price for a particular item eg for wheat of Rs.6.75 per Kg. they charge Rs.7.00, they sometimes sale potato at Rs.6.00 per Kg. & sometimes at Rs.7.00 per Kg. It also happnes that though we can see sacks of wheat, they say that that is for the BPL consumars & in other times they give us 250 Gms. per Card of the same wheat. Complaint to the Rationing Officer of the locality yild no result.
