Expired Icecream Pacl

I purchased a 750 ml Raj Bhog icecream pack of Amul from Pratiksha Stores, Lokhandwala Township, Kandivili East on 11th December. On consuming the icecream, there was a foul odour and a bitter taste. On verification on the pack of icecream it was found that the month of manufacturing was 05. On inquiring with the shopkeeper he said that he cannot do anything and that the complaint has to be made to the company. The expiry date of the icecream was on 6 months from the date of manufacture. However it seems the store is selling the items beyond the stipulated period. Please look into the matter and advise me accordingly.
