Azam Wood Furniture Works
Used substandard raw material, did not complete even 1/5 of work and is not refunding advance paid

I had purchased a flat and to do the interiors contacted Azam Wood Furniture Works. They quoted a sum of Rupees 54000/- for complete wood work of my flat. For Raw materials he asked for Rs 30000/- which I gave him.

I went for inspection of the work after a week and found that he is using all substandard raw materials (In less than month the plywoods have started to have bubbles, doors make noise on the hinges, we cannot open drawers which may also be because he has not provided the handles, but still mentioning here). He agreed to rectify everything and return me the amount for remaining works within a week.

Thereafter, whenever i try to reach him either he will not take the call or will simply say will meet you and refund your money by this weekend

But so far he has not returned my money.

Can anybody please suggest how can I proceed from here to get back my money.
