Poor quality wood & bad workmanship, design etc

Sir,

I placed an order for manufacturing of Double bed in favour of ASSAM WOODEN FURNITURE, S.T. Road, Badarpur, Dist- Karimganj, Assam-788803 on dated 10.01.10. the proprieter of the firm assured to deliver the same within 14.02.10 at an approximate cost of Rs. 21000.00. an advance of Rs 5000.00 for the same was paid on the same date.

Thereafter he failed to supply the product within specified date. after regular chasing he came up with the product on 21.06.10.

The wood used and the design given by us was not up to the mark, he accepted to change the bed within 15 days as low quality wood was used. on the same date again payment of Rs 15000.000 was made which is endorsed in the Cash Memo Having Sl. No. 1001 dated 21.06.10.

On regular chasing and telephonic reminder he didnt turned up to rectify the defects, at last we arranged a local carpenter for rectifying the defects, the original bills of the material used are with me and can be produced on demand. after completion of the work by other person.

the proprieter of the Assam wooden furniture came up to claim his remaining amount without performing any remedial action.

he use to abuse us by his telephone No 919577690015 and 919954112625 also he threatened us by sending voilent SMS on dated 08.10.10. time 09.44 PM and 09.33 . He says that " you are bihari and if you want to stay in assam you have to pay the amount, on demanding for the replacement he says that i have given the material which is fit in all respect"
