DISPUTE MY MONEY

I bought a membership of Artha Health Options in Bangalore. My artha card no is 0661430

After my old membership expired, Artha called me and said that the renewal fee for the next year is 4500/-. I agreed and gave my consent to debit that amount from my SBI credit card no. 5241826399046180. The amount was debited from my credit card on 03-Aug.

Now, I get a call from Artha saying that the amount was only “processing fee” and not the “full renewal fee”. They added that since I had agreed to renew my membership, I had no choice but to pay the full amount of 24000/- .

They informed me that since they had my credit card details, and the consent to renew my membership, they were well within their rights to charge the balance amount to my credit card. Since the transaction was done by misinforming me and with a deliberate intention of cheating, I wanted to cancel my renewal and get the refund of 4500/- to which they disagreed. This has caused me intense mental agony and financial hardship.

I would like to register a complaint against the vendor,
