Mistreating and Overcharging the Patient

I have a complaint against Dr. Meeno Shukla and Dr. Vajpai.

Dr. Shukla was consulted with the unltrasound report, she suggested the IV for low heamoglobin problem. sent us to Astha nursing home, where she got some room opened for injection and didn't ask whether we can afford it or not.

After finishing the same with difficulty the attendants told us that there are charges for the room. we asked how much, the receptionist gave us the bill with the charges of visiting doctor, nurse, bed, syringe and room which was applicable for one full day. Upon asking the receptionist started arguing and shouting at us.

We called the Dr. Shukla, who inturn says "aapko paise dene mein pareshaani hai kya? Ek kaam kijiye aap 200 dijiye aur kal se kahin aur jayiye." and she slammed the phone down.

We explained the same to Dr. Vajpai who owns the nursing home, its not the question of not paying, we have problem with the overcharging and the attitude of the staff. If we are paying, we have full right to ask for the breakup and we need the receipt for the payment.

They made us wait and discussed something with the person at the reception and denied us giving the receipt also.

We paid in full Rs. 700 for the hospital treatment and came back dissapointed.

We could pay but what about those ppl who cannot pay and the doctors and nursing home staff charges them such big amount?
