Sale of adulterated goods

We bought a 5 litres CAN of White Tiger (Soap based multi-use cleanser and deodorant) on 9th September from Chedda stores in Matunga (Mumbai). The entire CAN was in diluted form & there was no scope to dilute it any further, whereas the application instructions on the CAN reads as "Dilute 10ml in 1 litre of water". Apart from not being in a concentrated form (as it should have been), the liquid did not have the requisite aroma that it is known for/associated with. We were able to clearly identify these differences because we have been using this brand for 25 years now & this time we could clearly notice the adulteration in the liquid. we have paid Rs.438 for this can & are unable to make use of the product. this is a serious concern and the brand managers/marketing head /sales head at Bengal Chemicals should immediately take note of this. The batch number of this product is - 9770086, mfg date is - February place of purchase: Chedda stores, matunga (mumbai).
