My name is neeraj and i had a very bad experience with a patho lab... i was running fever for 3 4 days all my reports were normal dengue was negative my platelets were 1.5 lakhs on 11 nov... but my health was deteriorating day by day... was having giddiness, vomiting... my doctor chetan repeated my dengue test twice in bhide labs both were negative... finally seeming my dismal condition doctor insisted on doing the reports in hospital but i had full faith in bhide labs... i refused and did not heed his advice... my family spoke to the doctor who said he will not see me and now told me to get admitted... with the reports showing normal i was reluctant but did not have the guts to go against my doctor and got admitted in elizabeth hosp... to my shock my platelets were only 10, 000 and my dengue was positive... i was in the icu for 5 days was transfused platelets my md thanks to his excellent judgement told me that i had a close call and possibly their was clerical error it was not possible that somebody's counts could fall in one day... i spoke to milind bhide who in turn told me this is normal course of the disease and it was my gps fault... my doctor chetan told me as expected i told u so... moral of the story never trust any one person in medical issues... all are after money... i could have died
