Hi,
My Mom is suffering with back ache (Slip Disk Problem). So she visited KIMS hospital two years before. He prescribed Nexito 10mg tablets for the back ache. She was recovering for the first year, but down the line she is gaining more weight all of a sudden. When we visited Doctor Srinivas K (MD and also visits Apollo Multispecialty hospital) who is running private clinic SANJEEVANI hospital at Kukatpally, Hyderabad. He added few more tablets to the previous prescription. But today we came to know these doctors has prescribed Nextio 10mg for depression relief which is not the original symptom of the patient and the side effects of this tablets down the line are depression, gas forming in the body and may get brain imbalance. When we gone thru google about this tablets we came to know about this. We approched doctor Srinivas to check how come he didn't informed the patient about this tablet.
He is roaring at us saying its your problem with the previuos doctor and we can't avoid those tablets. But for the patient, Doctor is god and we follow
only the prescription suggested by Doctors. They should have minimal courtesy and common sense to guide patients and they should let the patient know about each and every tablet.
KIMS and Apollo are multispeciality hospitals, they are not small hospitals.. So where shall the patients go now..
Please take necessary action towards these kind of Doctors.
