Use of steroids in medicine without my consent

I had some skin infection problem 6 months back and I consulted a dermatologists and he prescribed me some medicines and ointments. I took them for one month but problem didnt get cured on the contrary my body got extreme gain of fat, like swelling. Therefor i consulted my family doctor and he told me that dermatologist gave me steroids and this is side effect of steroids. Dermatologists didnt tell me that these medicines consist steroids and due that i have to suffer. Now i want to file a case against him .. so where to appeal?

In consumer forum or in medical tribunal? Kindly let me know because that guy has played with my health and put it into danger
