Undue delay in moving and delivering speed post article

One envelope containing one Purchase Order for urgently needed Pharmaceutical grade Lactose and one cheque for Rs.127500/- to the value of the item ordered was booked as Speed Post article No. EL304186215IN dt.25.03.2011 from Alappuzha to M/S. ANSHUL AGENCIES, KHASRA NO.16/11, GROUND FLOOR, AMBALA – CHANDIGARH ROAD, NEAR CHOICE RESORTS, ZIRAKPUR DISTT., MOHALI (PUNJAB).

The Speed Post article was moved from ALAPPUZHA ON 28.03.AFTER THREE DAYS- and delivered at COCHIN for movement to Chandigarh, on 29.03.2011 the FOURTH DAY of booking for reasons known to Speed Post personnel only.

It is pitiable that SPEED POST PERSONNEL NEED 4 DAYS TO DELIVER AN ARTICLE TO A DISTANCE OF LESS THAN 100 KM EVEN AT THE LONGEST SURFACE ROUTE. If things progress at this pace we are afraid we will meet with production loss, sales loss and damages to the tune Rs.127500/-.
