Overcharging

Sir, Recently I visited Jayadeva Hopital's canteen. I bought a bottle of kinfisher packaged drinking water and they charged Rs 15/- even though it's MRP is Rs. 14/-. When enquired as to why they charge more, the reply was that the management wants it to be sold @ Rs. 15/-. Anywhere outside in any establishment it is sold at the MRP only.

I understand the hospital gets the consignment in bulk for a much cheaper rate.

Why r they selling at a price higher than the MRP. The hospital is making money from the poor people who come to see the patients.

I feel an investigation is necessary and action should be initiated and if possible the supply should be stopped.
