Lakeside Medical Centre and Hospital

I had to take my wife to the Lakeside hospital on saturday night i.e.22nd may at 7.40pm as she had a severe stomach pain. The duty Doctor advised a pain killer injection and by the time nurse could administer the vaccine, the Doctor left without a word.

After coming back home there was no improvement and we decided to call the hospital again and my Aunt reached the RMO Dr. Raviraj who advised that we get the patient as soon as possible and he is also in hospital. It took us 20 min to reach the hospital to realise that even Dr. Raviraj had left for the day.

Anyways treatment continued and Dr. Mrinalini Shetty was called in to check the situation. Dr. Shetty advised that we must go for ultrasound scan.

My wife was admitted and the next day i.e. Sunday 23rd May a nurse came to the room and announced that you have to pay Rs.500 extra for the scan or else the doctor wont come. I was upset and angry on hearing this. The nurse advised me to go to reception for more information. I told receptionist why wasn't i informed about the extra charge thing the previous night, the receptionist connected me to Dr. Raviraj who said, either I pay this amount or make my own arrangement. Upon asking why wasn't i informed about this earlier, he said "you can go where ever you want, no one is forcing you to be here".

This is an absolutely disgusting behaviour demonstrated by a Doctor who is regarded as God.

I have lost all the respect for this man and I would appreciate, if someone can suggest and tell me what can I do to escalate this issue. I want to ensure that this Uncouth and ridiculous human geing does not treat anyone this way ever again in life.
