Charging more than MRP

I went to buy Recofast Plus tablets that costs Rs.19.55 inclusive of all taxes. The store owner asked for Rs 20. I explained he can't charge more as the MRP is 19.55

He was not ready to listen. So I asked him for cash memo (bill). The bill also printed the total amount as Rs. 19.55.

After arguing further, the owner returned Rs0.50. While leaving, I tried explaining him the rule and he got so mad that he was ready to slap me. Luckily I chose to walk away because I did not want to get hit.

Please tell me how can we tackle this issue.
