Physiological issue

I am a 35 year post graduate in Zoology female undergoing fertility treatment. I have been taking NOVELON as prescribed for 2 months and I was alright. But recently at the end of October, I bought a strip from local pharmaceutical store in the 3rd cycle and from the very start of taking the first pill, I felt nausea. As it was a minor side effect, I continued taking it on the second and third day. But unusually I started vomiting throughout the day and whatever I ate came out immediately with stomach ache. I started vomiting in froth form. Even medication could not stop that immediately. I wonder how it happened suddenly. I doubt there is composition error in this batch of NOVELON or a fake batch. It is obviously a serious issue if it is so. I had to stop taking it for the current month. It is an issue to a wary of.
