Abnormal fees

My relative got admitted to Sagar Hospital in Jaya Nagar (Bannerghatta Raod) Bangalore. He was admitted on 21-Feb because he was diagnised with Lung and Kidney infection. Almost same day of admission he was moved in to ICU. A day later we were told that he needs to be operated to get the Lungs clear ann they got his wife to sign some papers as "standard" procedure. Before he was operated we were informed that he got heart attack twice and that he needs to be monitored to confirm whats going to happen. A kind of seriousness was created - almost indicating we can only say after 24hrs if he will survive! He comes out clean after 24hrs, many thanks to extra ordinary effort by the docs! After that he stays in ICU for couple of more days for monitoring. Now the bill is handed over and we find that for the period he was in ICU, apart from a daily Rs.15, 000/- additional 40% is charged for stay in semi-private room. He was *never* in semi-private room, in fact before he was moved to ICU he was in Male General Ward! Now this 40% is shocking! How can we get any help on this whole thing?
