Harassment to an aged person

This has reference to the operation (Phaco Surgery) of one eye of my father Arup Kumar Das who has visited in Wockhardt Hospital in Kolkata at Ballygaunge on 13.08.10. After preliminary checking, it was confirmed by Madam Amrita that the operation would be done on 19.08.10. On that time, it was also mentioned by you that the total Package is Rs 16600 with using good quality of lens. My father has intimated that he has a mediclaim policy. As desired by you all documents was also submitted.

As advised by Madam Amrita over telephone my father was started the pre operational medicine from 17.08.10. Unfortunately, it was intimated by Madam Amrita in last evening that the Package would be around Rs 27000. I was no other alternative but to postpone the operation. As from mediclaim, I may get Rs 12500 (25% of Sum Assured). I was planned accordingly and arranged for the rest of money.

It is very much ridiculous that such type of renowned Hospital is started a Business.

Could you feel a mental condition of an aged person who is 64 years old?
