Need to file a consumer case against Airtel Broadband.

In April we shifted from BTM to HSR layout. We lodged a request to transfer the land line and broadband connection to our new location, however we did not receive any communication from them for next 3 weeks. Then we called on April 30th and requested them to cancel the connection and they said it will be done within 2 working days. We never got any call from Airtel customer care or anybody else after that. In the month of May we started receiving calls that we have not paid the bill for the month of April and we have an outstanding amount. We went to Airtel office in Bannerghatta road and lodged the complain there once again. We got the same reply that this will be done in 2 working days and will be communicated to us, but we did not get any communication on it.

Last Month we have received a legal notice saying that we have not paid the bill from April’11 to till date. After this notice we again visited Bannarghatta Road Airtel office, they asked us to lodge a complaint and we did that. But once again we have received a Airtel Bill yesterday stating that we have an outstanding amount of Rs 3, 000 approx in our account. The bill clearly states that the outstanding amount is for the month of April to Nov.

We wrote emails at Airtel customer office but received no response. Please help.
