Poor Customer Support From BSNL

I have been using BSNL broadband service since 2007. In last few months its not working well. I have complained the authorities of the issue many times but was really disappointed with their response. My father is a retired BSNL employee. Therefore whenever I visit the exchange I get a warm smile from the people there. But I am really sorry to say that their service ends up in that. After hearing the complaint they will come soon but can't expect them soon. We may need to go there several times to solve the issue. The same thing happened in the case of this broadband issue. I have visited them several times and with a warm smile they said that would come soon. But nothing happened for many times. So I visited them once again in the last week and managed to get one man to check the issue. He visited the home and said that the not sure about the reason of the issue and replaced my modem and told me to wait for some days with the new modem in use. But nothing happened. I faced the same issue in coming days. I again visited the exchange and informed the issue. They said issue may be on the line and will fix it soon. But nothing happened till date. I am really disappointed with their approach on customers. I haven't experienced such a poor response from any product I have used till date.

What I say? The largest telecoms service provider in the country.

Irresponsible customer support. No one to question them. No delay in issuing bills.

Never give any discount on poor service.

In many regions there is no other competitor in broadband section. So poor customers have no other option. They have to suffer from their own company (According to my knowledge BSNL is still a 100 % Govt. Undertaking company)

In fact they are not at all bothered about customer satisfaction because they get their salary in time and it does not depend on whether the customer is happy or not. So why should they bother about poor Indians. They are working for their own sake and we will pay them in time.
