Bsnl evdo
EV-DO not functioning and slow speed

I have purchased a BSNL EV-DO data card on 31/12/09.In the settings category, there are three modes-EV-DO, 1x and hybrid. The two of them, 1x and hybrid are working but if i change this mode to EV-DO, it is said that the remote computer did not respond..also the two modes which are working are very slow, around 5-10KB/S..please solve my problem..
