Telephone dead / Broadband not working

Dear Sir,

I am Asheesh Saxena and I am a BSNL customer. My fixed line telephone numbers is 91 (080) – 25619579 with Customer ID – 50365681.

I was using the BSNL broadband services however the download speed is slow and has disconnection problems etc. But from last 25 days my telephone connection is completely dead. I am neither able to use my telephone for outbound calls nor receive any calls. Above all, my broadband connection is not working. I checked the phone line and found that there is no dial tone.

I logged the complaint the through Fault repair service dial xxxx2198 and received the complaint number. I thought it will get repaired so forget the complaint number but when after one week nothing happened I logged another complaint number #0852.

First visit to BSNL telephone exchange 

Nothing happened so I decided to visit BSNL telephone exchange and meet the concern person so seek help. I visited on 15-Nov and meet Mr. Prabhu and Mr. Mahalingam and they assured me that they will take immediate action and repair the fault by end of the day Monday 15-Nov.

Second visit to BSNL telephone exchange 

Nothing happened so I decided to visit again on Friday 19-Nov. I found one lady reporting to Mr. Mahalingam she said no one is there in office so she took the telephone number and told the line man to attend the call immediately.

I register new complaint number #228 on Monday 22-Nov.

Today 25-Nov-10 when I am writing this letter the telephone is still dead (no dial tone). Also I tried

1. Public Grievance number – (080) 25422434 (announcement says it’s nor working dial again)

2. Asst General Manager (PR) – (080) 22862345 (announcement says it’s nor working dial again)

3. Asst General Manager (PG) – (080) 25569750 (announcement says it’s nor working dial again)

I request you please check the complaint log for this number 91 (080) – 25619579 with Customer ID – 50365681 and also the entry register regarding my visit to your exchange office.

I appreciate if you can take appropriate action and instruct your staff to repair the fault ASAP.
