My gmail acoount is hacked, and abusive mail about me is send to many people

Respected, sir

i have one gmail account.but someone has hacked my account. He has send email to many persons and written something abusing about me in that mail to make me shameful in front of them, many of them i know, they are students of my college. the send mail was save in my sent items as well as my inbox,

i have suspicion on one of my classmate who is doin some hacking course also (good in doing hacking activities).he is also sended this mail and all the mail are send to group of 10 people in which his name is in all group mails, i have deleted all spam and trash and unuseful mails (including that scam mail) from my account and changed passwaord. but my gmail id and password is not changed and there is no other activities in my acoount except sending these mails.
