Receive Bills after discontinue service

My account no was 758985.I had already deposited their modem and cable to nearest center. I had acknowledement receipt. Every month they send me bills via email or sms. I am not using their service and I left the place where i had taken connection. I was not used their service since 30Aug11.I send mail for discontinue service on 30Aug11.These people called me around 28Sep11 and said i have to deposit modem and cable. They were sleeping those days. Then i deposited modem and cable around 5Sep11.
