HDFC NET BANKING
Payment of phone bills -- airtel -- easy pay

From the last few days I have been trying to pay my telephone bills online using hdfc's netbanking. I have an airtel mobile so I have to go through the airtel customer portal from where I am rerouted to the net banking home page. I am able to log in correctly. I confirm the amount to be paid. And when I hit submit it says that the transaction has failed. I do not get any message saying why it has failed. There was never any problem with bill payments to airtel earlier.
