Dear Indiatimes Team,

I have had one of the worst shopping experiences one could ever have with Indiatimes and would never recommend it to anyone hereafter. I had placed an order on 30th October over sms. I got a call the next day for registration of the same. I spoke with the customer care executive and asked whether it would be possible to deliver the Kindle book-reader by 5th November for my father’s birthday. Had he not promised me delivery by 5th November I would have never placed an order and picked it up from the market. However, the customer care executive assured me it would reach on time.

Further to that I called repeatedly during the week and on 5th launched a complaint (WHICH WAS NOT LAUNCHED by your customer care executive). By 6th November, with my Diwali and father’s birthday ruined waiting for your product to reach I was furious and launched another complaint (WHICH WAS ALSO NOT LAUNCHED IN YOUR RECORDS).

Until 6th November, none of your customer care executives even cared to inform me that my product which was supposed to reach me by 5th Nov was not even shipped (NOT SHIPPED TILL DATE)! I would like you to go back and listen to all the recorded conversations.

I am furious, do not wish to have this product or any further experience with indiatimes. Despite frequent frustrated conversations, YOUR CUSTOMER CARE DIDN’T EVEN CARE TO LAUNCH A COMPLAIN, HID FROM ME THE FACT THAT MY PRODUCT WAS NOT YET SHIPPED & MIS GUIDED ME THROUGH THE PROCESS.

I must say some of the people whom I have interacted with lack basic communication skills and do not even understand what the customer is asking for (refer to my call today). 538933 is finally the complaint number for my call today. I am furious and shocked to see such unprofessionalism from indiatimes.

I regret to say it has ruined two of the most important events in this year for me and I’d never look forward to any experience with this entire group. I must say with indiatimes shopping I completely feel cheated as a customer. This is the worst service I have ever seen and known of.
