A broad band connection was taken from Airtel in the month of May'10 against 3 months advance payment of Rs. 1800/- later on I had requested to disconnect it . after all verifications, it was disconnected, but after a week or so the connection was reconnected. On asking through customer care it was informed that I had given consent for reconnecting it on some low rental plan.(BUT I AM NOT AWARE OF THIS CONSENT) I requested not to continue it but of no avail. Bills started pouring in and calls for payment too started and I repeatedly told Airtel people to disconnect the connection, but just to deaf ears it was.
Finally, in the first fortnight of Oct'10, one Ms. Meenakshi from Airtel Delhi office resolved my issue and asked me to pay Rs. 300/- against my usage during Aug and Sep '10 and confirmed that all other balance will be waived off.(since it was a compulsive usage for me beside the connection was disconnected for 7-10 days) Also a plan of Rs. 450/- was offered to me on discount ie. Rs. 225/- per month was specifically told to me over phone. The entire deal was then confirmed to me through the Airtel Lucknow Office.
I paid Rs. 300/- on 28th Oct'10 as promised but my Oct'10 bill too was inflated one and previous balances too showed up. which was very dissappointing and unexpected of Airtel.
Since then I am repeatedly Lodging my problem and complaint to customer care and once or twice I received calls from Airtel Delhi office they promised me to revert back but still my status remains unchanged.
MAY I REQUEST HERE TO CORRECT MY BILL AND WAIVE OFF MY UNDUE OVERBILLING AS PROMISED TO ME ENABLING ME TO PAY MY GENUINE BILL ON TIME AND ENJOY GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH AIRTEL
