This is Mallika.
I had an Airtel broadband connection. I decided to surrender and get it disconnected in Aug as I was not going to be in the country. I called up the customer care, and told them to disconnect. They registered a request and disconnected the service, and said that they would also send someone to collect the equipment.
No one came to collect the equipment. And to my surprise, they claim to have received a request to reconnect the service. They obviously made a billing mistake, and now are refusing to accept the same.
Even worse, they are threatening to take this matter to the court, all when the mistake is completely on their part.
This is their way of extracting Rs.2587/- from a customer due to wrong billing.
Unbelieveable! Airtel is just horrible, and is trying to make me pay, for a fault of theirs'!!
