Guru Techno World is a shell company of a web scam SEO services based out of Chandigarh, India. I purchased SEO services from them over the July 4th weekend and paid 3 months in advanced for a large discount. Guru Techno World just recently opened up their new website so there wasn't much information about them at the time. Over the weekend of July 4th it seemed that they scammed quite a few people. So I paid in full for the 3 months and gave them the information for my website. They told me they were going to send me a website analysis within 24 hours and than began working on my site.

I waited 48 hours figuring that maybe there was a slight delay. To my surprise I never received a response or reply back from them. I tried emailing, calling and instant messaging them to check the progress of my report. They blocked my instant messenger account and never once replied to my emails when I called they just picked up the phone and hung up.

After the 48 hours I changed my website password because I was afraid they would take repercussions against me once I dispute the transaction with paypal. After I changed my password I browsed my website and found multiple hyperlinked words directing back to their website. I deleted them all and emailed them one last time letting them know that I charged back the transaction and found their website links. Twenty minutes later I get an email from some guy that I never spoke to before. He seemed very nice and told me that the reason they injected the links into my site was because someone scammed them that worked for my company. Obviously this guy had no idea who I was and that I was the person who ordered the service and spoke to them originally. I asked him some information and he told me that he didn't know the persons name but that I should investigate the issue and get back to him. Than he began explaining to me how he could bring my website to #1 on Google.

Truthfully tho, how stupid can these people be? They tried to scam me and than sell me services again?
