I had bought Blackberry Storm 9530 from Indiatimes Shopping website. In a month, its speakers stopped functioning and I was then asked to send it for replacement. All this while, the Customer Care Dept kept assuring me that I’ll get my replacement in 15 days. When I got my courier after the stipulated time, all I received was the repaired old phone of mine. Now, they are refusing to entertain my request over the phone and only registering it as a complaint with no action. All emails sent to them are being replied back with a standard format and again with no clear plan of action.
This is:
1. Cheating: Selling of defected products
2. Lies: Customer Care Dept telling customers about replacement.
3. Deception: Sending back the repaired product and then showing complete ignorance about it.
It’s impossible to believe that there Merchant (Marco Enterprises, Mumbai) would send back the repaired product without informing Indiatimes management. I’m sure Indiatimes is very much hands in gloves with there merchants.
