Financial cheating

Companies namely 1) Kingfisher Welfare Project is working in the district of Jalpaiguri and Darjeeling and taking deposit in tune of one thousand to one lakh from the tea garden labourers. They have recruited hundred of agents who are working for the company on commission ranging from 15 to 19 percent. They are organizing agents meeting in Siliguri, Kolkata and other cities convincing them that the company is owned by Mr Vijay Malya. Recently, the matter was referred to SP of Jalpaiguri. However, due to this complaint they have removed their signboards from the places it were displayed. However, they are still working and it seems the administration is not ignorant about the matter. The agents are the tribal youth who do not know anything about the company and just collecting money from other tribal people.

The same kind of business is being carried out by M/s Royal India of Coochbehar.
