Disquallified in recruitment process

I had appeared in campus recruitment program for accenture held at truba college bhopal.i had received my hall ticket from my college to appear in that campus drive.i had cleared written, group discussion, and technical interview.but in h r round i was told that i could not be selected because i have 3 years of educational gap.even it was for a valid reason.so i want to ask if after this gap i have been given admission in college (i have submitted gap certificate in college), then why cant i get a job in accenture.i had cleared written, gd.and technical round of interviews, which proves that i have ability to work.if all the companies will reply in same manner then what will i do with my degree??? as i am not economically strong i cant start my own business so should i stop looking for job and start selling peanuts??? please reply... thank you
