Frequent non-functioning of product

The machine (model-Aqua Nova) was purchased in Aug.' for the last 4 months, i'm facing a problem of frequent non-functioning of the machine. I also have an A.M.C. done. The local service centre (Garia, Kol-84) had sent a mechanic who has not been able to restore the machine. Now they have no solution to the problem. Should i take it up with the higher authorities to get the work done? Pls help.
