Dear Sir,

1. I had invested in above bonds and purchased 81 bonds in the name of my minor daughter Madhu Gudi represented by my wife Mrs Suman Gudi (mother) at a total value of Rs. 8100/-. Post maturity of the said bonds, the UTI had issued a warrant for Rs. 8367/- vide warrant no 500455004 Cheque No 157584 which was deposited in my HDFC bank account no. 004010203155639 (old) / 00721150041741 (new). This account is jointly held with my wife Suman Gudi.

2. However, the HDFC bank has issued a cheque rejection memo on the ground that ‘Payee name differs’ since the cheque has been issued in the name of my daughter Madhu Gudi and she is not an account holder of the said account.

3. The above cheque needs to be revalidated and a fresh cheque needs to be issued in my daughter’s name as per following details:-
