Unsafe conditions to board the train and potential hazards for passengers

August Kranthi 2954 Date of travel 21/12/08 Grievances 1) Train did not stop at the assigned bogie number. A4 coach stopped two bogies behind the marked sing for A4. As a result of this an woman was knocked down almost run over by a luggage cart. It WAS LITERALLY A STAMPEDE!! IS THIS THE WAY PEOPLE BOARDING THIS PRESTIGIOUS TRAIN BE TREATED? aND TO MY SURPRISE THE DOOR FOR ENTRY IN TO THE RESERVATION AREA WAS LOCKED LEADING TO CROWDING OF PEOPLE AND LUGGAGE AT THE BOARDING AREA OF THE COMPARTMENT. WE HAD TO LITERALLY BREAK OPEN THE DOOR TO ENTER INTO THE RESERVATION AREA. 2) Catering case which was being cleaned fell on my left foot resulting in a deep cut, while I was waiting in line to use the toilet. I was informed by the Dy. supervisor catering services that there is no room for cleaning these cases in the pantry car. This is Ridiculous 3) FLIES in 2AC car. VEry Jerky ride, we can clearly notice the sudden jerks as the engine accelerates and decelerates. 4) Train came to Mumbai central 1h 15 min late on 22/12/08.
