Auto meter tampering

I regularly travel from Begumpet to Hitech City to my office. Everyday the charges will be between Rs. 82-85, and the distance will be less than 12 Kms. Today on my way to office i have hired one auto "AP 13 W 718" to my surprise the charges went upto Rs. 130/- and the distance covered came to 23 kms, when i asked the driver he didn't even bothered to reply back and he disappeared from the scence immediately.

This happens with most of the auto's, even the digital meters are not worth enough to put an end to such auto drivers. I strongly feel that the concerned government authorities have to take certain action against such issues being faced by common public every day.
