Autorickshaw
Not ready to travel short distance

Public transportation in pune is first of all pathetic and to add to this is the behavior of autorickshaw drivers. Yesterday i wanted my mother to be taken to a nearby clinic as she fainted at home. I have no conveyance of my own and hence had to pursue an autorickshaw for that. I asked an auto driver (Vehicle number: MH 12 CT 2851) but he denied saying he had to go home when the time was just 8.30 pm. I knew that because it is short distance he wasn't readyfor it. I begged him saying that i have a patient to be taken to the hospital, still he didn't show any mercy. I managed another auto and was able to take my mother to the hospital. On return back i saw the same auto driver standing at the rickshaw stop who had dropped us at the hospital and this time he denied taking us back home (Vehicle Number: MH 12 RA 1629). There was another auto driver standing there who also denied. Is there any other agency to whom i can directly approach to lodge a complaint? Because anyone can have such a situation coming their way.
