High metre fare

The autorickshaw wallas takes due advantage of people. Most of them have their metre tampered which causes high fare than usual.

E.g. on 11th Nov i hired an auto from Kurla west for Malad (Mindspace). i regularly travel by auto to my office in Malad. the fare goes upto max 230 Rs but that it suddenly went to 340 rs. its really a huge difference. there was no heavy traffic which could have caused this. the traffic was as usual. after reaching malad i asked the driver that you meter is not showing proper figure. it may be tampered or may be faulty but he argued. with no wasting of time i asked him to provide me with his driver batch number which he started refusing. then after 15-20 mins when i pressurized him he gave me the details as follows:

Vehicle no - MH-03-AK-2851

we request concerned authorities to take necessary action against such persons so that passengers will not fall prey to such frauds.
